Helen Louise Morrison

Funeral services celebrating the life of Helen Louise Morrison, 83, of Pataskala, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with burial to follow in Kirkersville Cemetery, where Helen will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Sam, who preceded her in death in 2009.

Helen passed away in the evening hours of November 23, 2021 at her home. She was born September 21, 1938 in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Ernest Stanley and Anna Elvira (Haney) Young.

She was employed by the R.G. Barry Shoe Company of Columbus in addition to her duties as a homemaker. She loved Bluegrass Music, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving family: Debra Jackson (Kimm) of Bradenton, Fl., Larry Hammons of Huntington, WV, Helen Jane Justus of Somerset, DeAnna (John) Woodruff of Roseville, step-sons Keith (Brenda) Morrison of Pataskala and Kerry Morrison of Florida; her sister Doris Sheline of Columbus; her 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her brother Ralph Young, Sister Jean Birchum and an infant daughter.

The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral services on Monday at the funeral home, 285 E. Main St. in Kirkersville.

The family wishes to thank the skilled caregivers with Hospice of Central Ohio and Brenda Morrison, for their loving care of Helen.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to Hospice of Central Ohio, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
