Helen Elizabeth Rowland

Helen Elizabeth Rowland, 95, of Thornville passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home. She was born in Junction City, on July 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Joel A. and Ola (Detty) Finck.

A lifelong homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and making blankets for friends. She also loved to play cards, checkers and spending time outdoors.

She is survived by her loving family: Husband of 75 years, Edwin Rowland, whom she married on July 14, 1945; her son Edwin of Austintown, Ohio; her grandchildren Amanda (Josh) Nihiser and Michael Rowland; great-grandchildren Ondrianna, Payge, Sera, Josalynne, Lybertei, Caedynce Nihiser and Kyle and Dylan Rowland.

Private graveside services will be held for the family in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jacksontown. Her nephews Donnie and Joab Rowland will officiate.
