A funeral service celebrating the life of Iona E. (Withrow) Wilson, age 54, of Hebron, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, at the Hebron home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Burial will take place in Licking Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, May 27, at the funeral home, 108 North Seventh Street in Hebron.Iona was born October 11, 1961 in Montgomery, West Virginia to the late Kenneth Harold Withrow and Bonnie Ruth (Naylor) Withrow Beach. She passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Iona was a graduate of Lakewood High School and the Licking County JVS which she had attended for dental assisting. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Iona was a daycare provider for many years and had also been employed by EcoLab. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed Yahtzee, shopping, especially for her grandkids, and also enjoyed arts and crafts, singing and reading stories to her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cookouts with them.She is survived by her husband of thirty years, Robert J. Bob Wilson, whom she married March 15, 1986; sons, Matthew James (Meagan) Withrow of Newark, Robert Scott (Tabitha) Wilson and Benjamin Wilson, all of Hebron; grandchildren, Luc Withrow, Malia Withrow and Kimber Wilson; step-mother, Melinda J. Miller of Newark; brothers, Kenneth (Melissa) Withrow of Baltimore, Maryland, Charles (Dawn Withrow and William (Karen) Withrow, all of Thornville and Robert L. Beach of Newark; sister-in-law, Vicki Graham of East Fultonham; several nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Bobbi (Moore) Boone of Hebron and Betty James of Buckeye Lake; and many other children that she held close to her heart.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bret A.
