Irene N. Solace

A memorial service celebrating the life of Irene N. Solace, 83, of Hebron, will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hebron chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service.  Friends may call at the funeral home, 108 N. 7th Street, Hebron, two hours prior to the memorial service on Saturday, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Irene was born in Price Hill, WV on November 5, 1934 to the late Pete and Mary Techak.  She passed away at her residence on September 1, 2018. Prior to retirement, she was a cook and cafeteria worker at Lakewood Schools for many years.  She was also a dedicated homemaker to her loving family.  She was a member of the Hebron Mother’s Club, enjoyed gardening, square dancing and took pride in keeping a beautiful yard and home.  Irene was a giving and selfless person, and loved everyone she met. Survivors include her children, Michael Solace, Timothy (Brenda) Solace, Steven (Heidi) Solace and Kelle Solace Stinson; brother, Michael (Elodia) Techak; grandchildren, Bill Davis, Charlotte (Kenny) Bailey, Mitchell (Jade) Solace, Brett Solace, Nicholas Solace, Anna Solace, Dagny Stinson, Kira Stinson and Perie Stinson; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frankie Solace; and sister, Margie Gunter. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Irene to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
