Isabelle Collins

A graveside service for Isabelle M. Collins, age 99, of Newark, formerly of Kirkersville, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Mifflin Township Cemetery, Gahanna.Isabelle was born January 14, 1916 in Kirkersville, Ohio to the late John and Phyllis (Cooperrider) Moore. She passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Kindred Rehab and Transitional Care of Newark.Isabelle retired from Ebco in Columbus and had also retired from Sears at Eastland Mall. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and doing the Dispatch crossword puzzle each day.She is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews; and by a dear friend, Susan Woods of Granville.In addition to her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Collins in 1952; and by four brothers and three sisters.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or to the American Cancer Society.The Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service is honored to care for the Collins family.
