Ivan P. Reese

Ivan P. Reese, 82, of Hebron, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 of natural causes. He was born October 7, 1931 to the late John R and Myrtle (Clayton) Reese.Ivan is retired from the City of Columbus as a Code Enforcement Officer with the Dept. of Development. He was an avid fan and follower of OSU Buckeyes.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marilyn V. Blosser-Reese; sons, Larry D. (Marita) Reese, Karey Steve P. (Kim) Reese, Gregory T. (Tina) Reese; grandchildren Dyann (Charlie) Phillips, Raquel (Jason) Attar, David (Tabitha) Reese, Maryjo (Paul) Ryther, Stephanie (Jason) Burlingame, Joshua (Regina) Reese, Jessica (Dusty) Rhoades, Brittany (Pat) Piconne, Rachel (Joe) Brannen, Nicole Marie Reese and Chris (Brittney) Sturtz; 24 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way; many nieces, nephews and friends.He is preceded in death by his brothers, Sherman (Ann) Reese and Robert (Jane) Reese; sister, Dorothy (August) Kern and Margaret Reese-Swetnam.A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of The HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service . Burial will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsburg. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 7th from 6-8 PM.
