Jack R. Ellis

Jack R. Ellis, 72, of Newark, passed away at Altercare North in Newark on September 1, 2020. Jack was born in Man, WV on October 8, 1947 to the late Harmon and Minnie Kay (Christian) Ellis. Prior to retirement, Jack was a fork lift operator with Owens-Corning for 40 years. He enjoyed bowling and golfing but most important was the time he spent with his loving family, especially spoiling his grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Lori L. (Mark) Dwiggins, Lori A. (Charles) Bline, John (Peggy) Helphrey and June Britton; sisters, Wanda (Larry) Sites, Kay (Mike) Roberts, Sharon Hatfield; brothers, Harold (Lynn) Ellis, Danny Ellis and Larry Ellis; grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, Cory, Damian, Dakota, Jacklyn, Matique, Mackenzie, Jessie, Amber and Kyra; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Ellis; and 15 brothers and sisters.
