A graveside inurnment service celebrating the life of Jack Rodney Robinson, Jr., age 71, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, at St. Joseph Cemetery with Pastor Josh Porterfield officiating.
Jack was born September 8, 1950 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Jack R., Sr. and Betty (Hall) Robinson. He passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home.
Jack was a 1968 graduate of Zanesville High School and was the owner of Robinson Coil Cleaning. He was a member of the Eagles in Zanesville. Jack liked to gamble and shoot Craps.
He is survived by his significant other, Melanie K. Sforza; daughters, Tina (Timothy) McDaniel of Hopewell and Katana George of Zanesville; grandchildren, Hanna (Kevin) McDaniel, Hunter McDaniel (Kayci Love) and Cody George; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Kolton, and Bentley Bash and Marlee McDaniel; brother, Tom (Jan) Robinson of Carroll; sisters, Roven King of Zanesville and Lynn (Robert) Hupp of Arizona; brother-in-law, Mike Mertens of Lancaster; special friends, Mark and Brenda Hite, Keith Shrider, Mark Croft and John Chambers; and his fur babies, Skylar and Missy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Mertens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio.
