Jackie "Jack" Barrick

Jackie L. “Jack” Barrick, 69, of Newark, passed away on July 14, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. He was born in Newark, Ohio on August 27, 1951 to the late Harold and Annabell (Hupp) Barrick. Prior to retirement, Jack worked as a custodian at Licking Memorial Hospital for 13 years. He was a former member of the Ancient Order of Druids in Newark and he loved animals and enjoyed walking. Survivors include his siblings, Michael (Sue) Barrick, Bobby Ray (Loretta) Walters, Debbie (James) Molden and Diane Vlachos; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, Susie; sister, Joanne Rice; and brother, Frank Barrick.
