A funeral service, celebrating the life of Jacob Thomas Sprague, 25, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Curt Martin as celebrant.Jacob died unexpectedly on September 8, 2013 in Newark. He was born May 17, 1988, the son of Clifford and Jamie (Whittington) Sprague. He was a graduate of Newark H.S. and C-Tech Criminal Justice program, class of 2007. He was employed with Midwest Health Services as a home health aide for disabled adults. Jacob loved spending time with his son, playing video games and having a good time.He is survived by his loving family: mother Jamie Sprague (Phil Dandy Lewis) of Harbor Hills; father,Clifford (Alisa) Sprague of North Canton, girlfriend Lauren Heath and son Baelin Sprague; sisters Anna and Kathryn Sprague, grandmothers Jean Whittington and Janet Clark, step-brother Michael and step-sister Courtney Cotyk, nephew Jackson Sprague and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Thomas Whittington and Donald Sprague.Friends may call at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.Memorials may be in the form of flowers or contributions to Fiberlgas Federal credit union to be used for Baelin Sprague.
