Jacqueline Ann Hartford

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Jacqueline Ann Hartford, age 84, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Thursday (today), May 15, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Gary Kirkpatrick officiating. A private burial will be held at Kirkersville Cemetery. Jacqueline was born in Buckeye Lake, Ohio on November 20, 1929 to the late James C. and Olive Eileen (McFarland) Yontz. She passed away at the Kobacker House in Columbus on May 13, 2014. Prior to retirement, she was an office manager with Ken Lynch Insurance Agency. She also worked for the Licking County Extension Agency. She was a member of Spring Hills Baptist Church in Granville. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, especially the Bible, but what she enjoyed most was cooking for and spending time with her entire family. She was a devoted homemaker to her children and she dearly loved her family. Survivors include her loving children, Jim (Kay) Roberts of York, PA, Jeff (Gigi) Roberts of Summerville, SC, Kim Minnich of Newark, Suzie (Jim) Rhoads of Middletown, Dori (John) Shade of Cambridge and Jackie Rhoads of Columbus; grandchildren, Jenny, Jeff, Brooke, Annie, Michelle, Jeffrey, Danielle, Katie and Erin; great grandchildren, Tanner, Sammi, Allie, Lauren, Joshua, Nathan and Nova. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hartford in 2012. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jacqueline to the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, OH 43214. Friends may call at the funeral home, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville, two hours prior to the funeral service, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Hartford family.
