James Arthur Nimz

James Arthur Nimz, age 96, of Newark, formerly a 42 year resident of Colorado, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Chestnut House in Newark.James was born February 20, 1918 in Ionia, Michigan to the late Gus W. A. and Martha (Lempke) Nimz. James was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from DCSC in Whitehall where he worked in quality control.He is survived by three children, Maureen Kay Davis of Everett, Washington, Patricia Irene Westmoreland of Newark and William James Nimz of Anaheim, California; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leota Irene (Patterson) Nimz; and by a brother, Carl Nimz.At his request, there will be no service or calling hours observed.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Nimz family.
