James Arnold Bowman

James Arnold Bowman, loving father of Melanie Riley and Jamie Bowman; loving brother to Barbara Hartman, Sherry Wills, Rick Bowman, Tony Bowman, Terry Bowman, and Mark Bowman; and loving grandpa to six grandkids and three great grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.

Jimmy worked for many years being a masonry contractor. He loved to fish, and he especially loved to spend time with his family and friends, and had great love for them. He had many wonderful friends throughout his life. Jimmy was also given the nickname ”Butter” which stuck through his whole life.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Betty and Thomas Bowman; brothers, Rick and Terry; and sister, Barbara.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, October 4, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
