James Brode

James C. Brode, age 52 of Millersport, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Jim was born on April 18, 1961 in Newark, Ohio to David L. and Nola J. (Winter) Brode. He was a good hearted man who enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his three sisters Patty (Dan) Brison of Thornville, Jennie (Steve) Walton of Baltimore, Linda (Steve) Seibert of New Lexington and brother David (Linda) Brode of Millersport; several nieces and nephews; and his special pet, Frisky. Jim was preceded in death by his parents David and Nola, brother Thomas Brode in 2007 and nephew David Charles Walton. A funeral service, celebrating Jims life, will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main Street, with Lieutenant Carnith and Krystal Boring of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will follow at the Millersport Cemetery, Millersport, Ohio.
