James Colbridge

James Lee Colbridge, (Huckabaa), age 65, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at theSelma Markowitz Hospice Care Center Newark, Ohio. James is survived by his four daughters, Cindy Lee (aka: Cinderella), Kelly, Kimberly and Dawnie, twosons, Jimmy and Timothy. Numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also his twospecial friends, Greg Farrington and Patty Wilson. James is preceded in death by his step-father, Don Huckabaa (aka: Dad) 1997, mother, Viola (Byers) Huckabaa 1998, sister, Debbie Colbridge 2001, brother, Bob Huckabaa 2014, sister Vickie Lewis 2015,Finally his faithful pet (Gizzy) 2014. They were the best of friends for over 17 years. James was born at Lockbourne Air Force Base in Columbus, Ohio. James was born to Viola Byers andRobert Colbridge. Viola later married Don Huckabaa who raised the siblings. James and Don worked together for many years before pursuing a career in heavy equipment operations. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and mechanic, predominantly Harley Davidson wherehe earned the nickname (In The Wind). He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, drawing, writing, gardening and old country music. Private services will be held at the Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, Thornville Chapel, at the request of the family.Friends may attend the after reception which will be held at the Sand Bar located at Fairfield Beach, to remember the Life of James Lee Colbridge.
