James I. Gause

James I. “Little Duck” Gause, 44 of Nashport, passed away on July 4, 2022, at Coshocton Regional Medical Center. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on May 8, 1978 to the late James L. Gause and Marilyn Sue Knight. James was a tree service technician for many years. He was a member of the Central Ohio Huntsman Association. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, roller skating, fishing, traveling, truck driving, working on his vehicles, but most important was the time he spent with his loving family and friends. Survivors include his two children, Galina Belle Gause and James I Gause, Jr.; siblings, Wyndi Nason, Heidi Simon, Michael Gause, Joshua Brown and Jessica (Nick) Grise; nieces and nephews, Angel, Vincent, Destiny, Cheyenne, Victoria, Alexis and Brianna; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James H. and Mildred Gause; paternal grandparents, Howard Knight and Rosalie Bowling; and an uncle, Mark Knight.
