James "Jamie" William Faught

Visitation for James William “Jamie” Faught, 51, of Millersport, will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Funeral Services to follow at 7 pm. Pastor Roger Conley will officiate. Inurnment will follow later in the Millersport Cemetery.

James passed away on Saturday September 16, 2023, in Columbus following a long struggle with End Stage Renal Disease. He was first diagnosed in 2013, underwent dialysis for ten years, and received a Kidney transplant in 2021 which unfortunately failed.  He was born July 24, 1972, in Columbus, the son of Theda Jane and John Wesley Faught Jr. He was a graduate of Millersport H.S; while in school he ran track and played basketball.  He worked as a forklift operator at JC Penney Distribution Center in Columbus. He was a member of the Crossway Church in VanAtta.

He loved old cars and belonged to an Old Car Club. He also loved dolphins. He enjoyed camping at his family campsite in Loudonville; and played chess, euchre, cribbage and keno.  His 2020 Ford Ranger 4x4 was his pride and joy.

He is survived by his parents, his daughter Samantha Faught and her fiancée Jason Grimes; his brother John Faught III; his aunts Pam and Debbie; niece Tasha and cousins Stephanie, Lindsey, Sammy and Evan.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
