James "Jimmy" M. Hayes

A visitation, celebrating the life of James M. “Jimmy” Hayes, 42, of Columbus, will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn inside the funeral home and for your protection. Jimmy was born in San Diego, CA on August 29, 1978 to James Powell and Celia Hayes. Jimmy was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed fishing, smoking traveling, listening to music, watching football and playing video games, but most important was the time he spent with his loving children, family and friends. In addition to his parents, survivors include his children, Selena (Richard) Hashman, Tristin Hayes, Braylen Hayes, Dominick Hayes, Jordan Hayes, Ashley Davis and Aleigha Davis; Fiancé, Tiffany Davis; sisters, Natasha Figueroa and Eva Hayes; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Glenn Milton Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Jimmy and his family.
