A funeral Mass celebrating the life of James M. Antoniak, 91, of Columbus; will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Arnold presiding. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. James was the son of the late Charles and Mary Antoniak.James, was a talented musician who skillfully played the accordion, which brought joy to many in his life. He loved to sing in his High School Mens choir. He enjoyed gardening and particularly liked tinkering. He was a long time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and made wooden Rosaries for the parish. He proudly served our country during World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. After his tour of duty in the Navy, he worked for North American Aviation.He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; his children: William (Laura), Ted, Mark (Kathy), Jim, Tim (Sharon), Diane Lower, Cathy Lembke (Robert); his brother, John (Julie); nine Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Ted and William; and his sister Dorothy Zielinski.In lieu flowers the family would like donations made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, 197 E Gay St, Columbus, OH 43215.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, located at 4383 East Broad St. in Columbus.
