A private graveside service for James Franklin Marshall, age 84, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.James was born in Wayne County, WV on August 3, 1929 to the late Jay and Hazel (Robinson) Marshall. He passed away at Kindred Healthcare Center of Pickerington on April 22, 2014.James proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Navy, during the Korean Conflict. He also worked for Kaiser Aluminum for over 15 years.Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Hazel and Wayne Rasmussen of Pickerington; sister, Eva Joyce Silvius of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Harlan Rasmussen and Lesa (Chuck) Thomas; and great grandchildren, Zac and Justin May and Addisyn Rasmussen; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Marshall in 2006; one son, Jimmy D. Marshall in 2010; three brothers, Ray Marshall, Sylvester Shorty Marshall and John Marshall.The Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Marshall family.
