James Michael Krofft

James Michael Krofft, 22, of Newark passed away on June 26, 2018 in Licking County. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 12, 1995 to the late Shane Lee Krofft and Kathryn Smyers of Newark. James enjoyed fishing and going to church. He had an uplifting personality, he loved hugging and making people laugh. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. In addition to his mother, survivors include his siblings, Morganne (Becca) Chandler, Logan Chandler, Tyler Krofft, Skyler Krofft, Shayna Krofft, Amanda Krofft, Michelle Krofft and Kyler Mangold; maternal grandmother, Lucretia Granger; paternal grandmother, Cecelia Roberts; step paternal grandmother, Linda Chandler; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, PaulSmyers; grandmother, Dorothy McWhorter; and best friend, Rex Lynch.
