James R. "Jim" Arnold

James Russell Arnold, Sr., 71, of Thornville, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was born on December 6, 1941 in Thornville to the late Howard and Helen (Moul) Arnold. Jim was a 1959 graduate of Lynnwood-Jacksontown High School. He loved camping, fishing, and taking care of his farm. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his loving family: special friend of 14 years, Thelma Mills; son, Rusty (Machelle) Arnold; daughter, Lisa (Jay Parkinson) Arnold; four grandchildren: Quay and Kylene Arnold, and Jake and Brock Parkinson; and his sister, Beatrice (Robert) Seidl.A funeral service, celebrating Jims life, will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S.
