James Robert Turner

James Robert Turner, 63, of Thornville, passed away at his residence June 6, 2020. He was born in Los Angeles, California on December 5, 1956 to the late Robert and Virginia (Rogers) Turner. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a machine operator for many years. He enjoyed motorcycling and woodworking. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Vicki L. (Norris) Turner, whom he married August 16, 1975; son, Joshua Turner; brother, David (Maggie) Turner; nephew, Christopher Turner; and numerous friends. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jim to Genesis Hospice Care. At Jim’s request, no services will be held. Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Jim and his family.
