James Wright

James L. Wright, 76, of Columbus, formerly of Millersport, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was born on January 8, 1937 in Columbus to the late Rev. George and Esther (Pfluam) Wright. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Vietnam era. He retired from A.E.P. and was a former councilman for the village of Millersport. He was a member of the American Legion Post 888, V.F.W., Post 1388, Amvets Post 51, the Eagles, Post 2801, and the Moose, 499.He is survived by his loving family: daughters, Dawn (Skip) Carl, Christy (Mark) Arnold, Sherrie Hughes, and Sheila Wright; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Stelzer; as well as his nieces and nephews, and many good friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; two grandchildren; two brothers; and two sons-in-law.The family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 1 3 p.m. at the Thornville home of HOSKINSON-Schoedinger Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S.
