Jane Adele Stewart

Jane Adele Stewart, age 75, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on February 26, 2022 at Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Mt. Vernon. She was born in Norwalk, Ohio on February 28, 1946 to the late Lyle and Rose (Morris) Foss. Prior to retirement, Jane was a supervisor with the Ohio Department of Unemployment. She was a gifted artist, enjoyed arts and craft, along with calligraphy. Most important was the time she spent with her family and friends, and she will be missed by everyone that knew her. Survivors include her loving husband, Philip L. Stewart, whom she married July 17, 1991; daughters, Amanda Eckenroad and Kelly Jo Stewart; sister, Judy Cesa; and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Thaddeus Eckenroad. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in Jane’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
