A graveside service celebrating the life of Janet Arlene Berry, age 78, of Newark, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, at Fallsburg Cemetery with Pastor Steve Robinson officiating. Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.Janet was born April 8, 1938 in Moxahala, Ohio to the late Bernard and Margaret (Music) Boley. She passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the home of her daughter in Warsaw.Janet was retired and had worked in healthcare for a number of years. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting and gardening.She is survived by three daughters, Deb Wilson of Newark, Kim (Duane) Dalzell of Warsaw and Jenny (Ray) Miller of Newark; four grandchildren, Shane Wilson, Shannon Wilson, Morgan Miller and Randi Berry; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Sondra, Mary, Mick, Judy, Christine and Diane; brothers, Dick, Joe and Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Berry, on November 22, 1973; and by two sons, Rodney and Randy Berry.Memorial contributions may be made to the Licking County Aging Program, 1058 East Main Street, Newark, OH 43055.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Janet and her family.
