Janet Sue Pace

Janet Sue Pace, age 70, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Janet was born January 17, 1944 in Zanesville, Ohio to Edison Ross Wolfe and the late Sinah Ernestine (Zumbro) Wolfe.Janet retired in 2009 from Limited Brands Technology Services. She was a member of Truth Tabernacle. A talented tole painter, Janet enjoyed making crafts and owed Pace Primitive Arts and Crafts. She also enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family and friends.In addition to her father, Edison Wolfe, she is survived by her husband, Leslie E. Pace, whom she married in 1976; daughters, Ronda Sue Maines and Lisa Renee Kuehner (Jeffrey Allen), all of Newark; step-children, Greg (Angie) Pace, Barrett Pace and Fray Davis, all of Washington; grandchildren, Nicole Anne Maines (Shane Jervis) of Hilliard and Ashley Sue Holman of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Madison Renee Maines, Mason Tyler Moore, JaNiyah Holman and James Jervis; step-grandchildren Megan, Levi, Sarah, Abby, Kate and Meredith Pace; brother, Dwight Douglas (Mary) Wolfe of Somerset; nieces, Brenda and Mary Beth; and many friends at Carson School and the craft circuit.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Renee Darlene Kuehner.According to her wishes, there will be no visitation or service observed.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Pace family.
