Janet Y. Fishbaugh

A graveside funeral service for Janet Y. Fishbaugh, age 74, of Kirkersville, will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Kirkersville Cemetery, with Pastor Cal Alexander officiating.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main Street, Kirkersville.Janet was born in Licking County on May 11, 1942 to the late Walter A. Yerian and Leona M. (Huffman) Trimble. She passed away on December 9, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East.Prior to retirement, Janet worked as a supervisor with United Telephone Company for many years. She was a member of Miller Church in Johnstown and attended Etna United Methodist Church. She was founder and organizer of Citizens of Kirkersville Area, founder of Sunshine Club for the Elderly in Kirkersville and was Kirkersville Village Clerk for many years. She enjoyed baking, cooking, decorating, crafting and sewing, where she was known for her Raggedy Ann and Cabbage Patch style dolls.Survivors include her three children, Timothy Fishbaugh, Teresa (Fred) Elliott and Travis (Mandy) Fishbaugh; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous friends.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Richard Yerian.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Janet to Licking County Aging Program, 1058 E.
