Janice Alice Moss

Janice Alice Moss, 73, of Heath, passed away on September 26, 2024 at the Laurels of Heath. She was born in Newark, Ohio on April 13, 1951 to the late Ralph and Margaret (Morehouse) Blanchette. Janice was a devoted homemaker to her family. She enjoyed listening to music, especially rock & roll, fishing and cooking, but most important was the time she spent with her loving family. She loved the Christmas season and family cookouts, where she was known for her world famous baked beans. Survivors include her children, Thomas Moss, Jr., Clayton Moss and Brian Moss; grandchildren, Mary Moss and Thomasa (Nicholas) Moss; former daughter-in-law, Erika Moss; brothers, Charles (Rita) Blanchette and Richard Blanchette; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moss, Sr.; sister, Cynthia Yost; and brothers, Johnny Blanchette, Ralph Blanchette and James Blanchette; Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Janice to Generation Hospice, 26 Westmoor Ave, Newark, OH 43055. The family would like to thank Generation Hospice and her special aide and niece, Lisa Yost. Private graveside services will be held for the family.
