Jason D. Grigsby Iii

A celebration of life gathering for Jason D. Grigsby III, age 61 of Frazeysburg, will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the Vineyard Church of Licking County, 7602 Stewart Rd., Newark.Jason passed away on October 17, 2014 at his residence while surrounded by loving family. He was born in Newark, Ohio on July 27, 1953 to the late Jason Grigsby Jr. and Roma J. (Evans) Grigsby of Frazeysburg.Jason proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a member of Vineyard of Licking County. He enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.In addition to his mother, he is survived by four children, Joshua (Billie) Grigsby, Jason Rine, Shawn Benner and Justin Kipp; sisters, Brenda (Doug) Ames, Sheila (Charlie Berger) Miller, Donna (Dan) Baker, Janice (Mike) Sullivan and Kim (Dave Mockus) Leavitt; 8 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Brandi Grigsby; grandson, Noah Jay Grigsby; brother, Phillip Grigsby and nephew, Robby Kessler.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for the Grigsby family.
