A funeral service, celebrating the life of Jean Hoskinson Norris Rine, 88, will be held on Thursday May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Ray Linn as celebrant. Burial will follow at Kirkersville Cemetery.Jean died peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home in Hebron surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 15, 1925 in Hebron, the daughter of the Late Leonard and Freda Dilly Hoskinson.She was a graduate of Hebron H.S., and was retired from the Newark Air Force Station after many years of dedicated service.She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Heath, and Eagon Chapter #123, Order of Eastern Star.She is survived by her loving family: son Charles Robert Bob (Valerie) Norris of Hebron, son-in-law Donald Saling of Nashport; grandchildren: James (Valerie) Norris of Newark, Shawn Williams, Greg (Allison) Norris of Jackson, and Nikki Robertson (Brandon Unger) of Heath; along with her 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Kay Ann Norris Saling, who died on November 24, 2012, and her brother Robert Hoskinson.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home, 285 E Main St in Kirkersville, where Eagon Chapter will hold OES services at 7:45 p.m.The family prefers that memorials be directed to the foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.An on line video tribute and register book are available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.
