Jeffrey Allen Bryant

A funeral service celebrating the life of Jeffrey Allen Bryant, age 60, of Pataskala, will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at the Newark Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Edwin Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, at the church, 37 North Westmoor Avenue, and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Jeff was born December 20, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at his home. A 1975 graduate of Watkins Memorial High School, Jeff went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The Ohio State University and was a tutor for many years. Jeff was an active member of the Newark Free Will Baptist Church where he was Sunday School teacher and Youth Leader. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the Three Stooges. Jeff was an inspiration to many people with his positive outlook on life. Above all, he loved the Lord. He is survived by his parents, Wallace Edward and Rachel Ann (Dawson) Bryant; three siblings, Mark (Linda) Bryant of Utica, Kelly (Don) Bird of Pataskala and Matt (Connie) Bryant of Pataskala; nieces and nephews, Josh, Michael, Bethany, Andrea, Jeremy, Michelle, Alison, Andrew, A.J., Emily, Sarah and Rebecca; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachel, Olivia, Lila, Natalie, Damien, Caleb and Lincoln; several aunts, uncles and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service in Kirkersville is honored to care for Jeff and his family.
