Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Daugherty

Jeffrey Scott Daugherty, 61 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Jeff managed his illness with strength, and a good sense of humor. In his final moments, he was surrounded by his daughters, who he adored more than anything else in the world.

Prior to his retirement, Jeff was a UPS Driver from 1985-2021. After retirement, he continued to work at OSU’s Schottenstein Center

Jeff was known for his ability to “tell it like it is” and to make others laugh. He enjoyed AC/DC, driving around in his Jeep with the doors off, golfing, a fresh pair of tennis shoes, sharing a drink with friends, and spending time with his family. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and the Buckeyes.

He is survived by his mother Edna Eileen Boggess; his two daughters Bridget C. Knisley (husband Aaron Knisley) and Megan A. Daugherty; his granddaughter Lennon J. Knisley. He was preceded in death by his father John L. Boggess.
