Jeffrey Scott Rowe

Jeffrey Scott Rowe, age 60, of Heath, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Jeff was born May 24, 1957 in Newark, Ohio to the late Frederick William and Christina Alice (Brown) Rowe. A 1975 graduate of Newark High School, he had worked in construction for the majority of his life. He was very artistic and enjoyed drawing. He also played the violin (left-handed) and was first chair violinist in high school. He was an avid fan of the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed cooking. He is survived by two sons, Robert Rowe (fiance, Tasha Rogers) and Joe Rowe, all of Newark; grandson, Xavier Alexander Rowe; sisters and brother, Kim (Todd) Miller of Heath, Judy (Phil) Patrick of Cincinnati and Frederick (Debbie) Rowe of Amesville; niece, Holly Boggs of Heath; nephews, Devin Miller of Heath and Kevin Rowe; and an aunt, Mary Catherine Elliott of Newark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Georgia Wolfe and Tina Marie Rowe; and a brother, Terry William Rowe.A graveside inurnment service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 23, at Wilson Cemetery with Pastor Tim Sowards officiating.
