Jennifer Michele Koss

Jennifer Michele Koss, age 53, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Jennifer was born December 26, 1966 in Berwyn, Illinois.

Jennifer was a graduate of the University of Illinois and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Project Management. She was employed in IT with Nationwide Insurance. Jennifer enjoyed arts and crafts and watching her children in their sporting activities. She loved her family and her dogs and cat.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Edward Pruden of Newark; children, Delaney Pruden and Dylan Pruden; mother, Frieda Lois (Horvitz) Koss of Des Plaines, Illinois; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nadia Koss of Rothenburg, Switzerland; nephew, Max; and niece, Zoe; uncles, Erik Horvitz and Shel (Jackie) Kolner; and several cousins.

The family will have a celebration of Jennifer’s life at a later date in Chicago. She will be laid to rest at Shalom Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Illinois next to her father, James Neil Koss.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to an education fund for Delaney and Dylan, or to Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG, Inc.), 1600 Corporate Landing Parkway, Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
