A memorial Visitation, celebrating the Life of Jerilyn A. Jewell, 76, of Millersport, will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
Jerilyn passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, following a brief illness. She was born in Columbus on April 5, 1942, the daughter of the late Agustus and Frances (Landis) Hershiser. She was a graduate of Groveport Madison H.S., class of 1960, and was still employed with the JC Penney Company as a merchandiser, for whom she had worked for over 42 years.
Jerilyn lived and died for her kids and grandkids. She was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by her loving family: Brian (Rhonda) Jewell, Denise (Duane) Holstein, all of Millersport; Troy (Aylin) Jewell of Pickerington; her brother Duane (Bobbie) Hershiser; grandchildren Victoria (Jason) Hymiller, Cassandra Holstein, Noah, Hanna, Troy and Kayra Jewell; along with her two great-grandchildren Chandler and Sofie.
The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Millersport Athletic Boosters, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
