Jermaine Michael Mitchell, 31, of Columbus, passed away on February 26, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 26, 1991 to the late Clinton Mitchell and Cheryl (Black) Hill, who survives. Jermaine was a landscaper and construction worker for many years. He enjoyed camping, building things, mountain biking, the great outdoors, but most important, was the time he spent with his loving wife, children, family and friends. He is loved and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him and his smile will live in our hearts forever. He is survived by his wife, Chelsea (Johnson) Mitchell; mother, Cheryl (Alfred II) Hill; children, Jaeden Carter, Johnathan Mitchell, Joy Mitchell and Makenzie Johnson; maternal grandmother, Geneva Black; paternal grandparents, Clinton and Marlene Mitchell; brother, Roy (Amanda) Price; sister, Shontaya (Joseph) Phinisee; step-brothers, Alfred (Jasmine) Hill III and Allan (Tonya) Hill; best friends that referred to each other as “brothers”, Devin, Larry and Darius; special cousin, Nicholas Black; mother-in-law, Dorothy Pitman; father-in-law, Wayne Johnson; sisters-in-law, Jamara Ka, Janae Johnson, and Stefanie Johnson; uncles, Michael (Jacqueline) Black, Kenneth (Juneal) Black, Jr., Thomas (Becky) Black, Craig (Angie) Black, Steve Black and Mark Mitchell; aunts, Telisa Mitchell, Lisa Black and Ora Black; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
