Jerry James "Jay" Hottinger

A funeral service celebrating the life of Jerry James Jay Hottinger II, 54, of Newark, will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will follow at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral, 179 Granville Street, Newark, two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Jay was born in Newark, Ohio on November 2, 1963 to the late Jerry Hottinger and Sheila (LeMay) Hottinger, of Newark. He passed away on May 28, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. In addition to his mother, survivors include two children, Brock Lewis and McKenzie Lewis; brother, Terry Dale Hottinger; sister, Victoria Lynn Hottinger; step daughter, Hollie Lewis Linton; grandchildren, Tatum and Kiki; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
