Jerry E. Loughman, Sr.

Jerry E. Loughman, Sr., 59, of Newark, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark on July 26, 2021. He was born in Newark, Ohio on July 6, 1962 to the late Larry Loughman Sr. and Nancy (Thompson) Loughman. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Gerrianna “Gerri” (Richeson) Loughman; children, Cheryl Loughman, Jerry Loughman, Jr., Eric (Jessy) Richeson, Chelsea (Brandon) Hunter and Cody Loughman; sister, Tammy (Clarence) Angle; Terry Loughman and Larry (Jenny) Loughman; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. At Jerry’s request, he will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held for the family at a later date.
