Jerry Lloyd Oldham, 77, of Thornville/Buckeye Lake went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022. Jerry was born September 6, 1944 in Marion, Ohio to the late Arthur and Kate Oldham. He is survived by his loving wife Sally (Nimocks) Oldham, whom he married on January 6, 1980. He is also survived by his three sons Keith (Alice), Peter (Denise), Collin; and his sister Margaret (Bob) Ninninger. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death his brother Ted and his twin brother Jack. Jerry proudly served in the United States Navy as a “Seabee” and was a Disabled American Veteran. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, serving as a greeter and as a facility manager for many years. Jerry was the Charter Grand Knight of Council 13379 from 2003-2005. He was a 4th Degree member of the Bishop Ready Assembly #830. He served as the president of the Buckeye Lake Civic Association from 1996-1998. He also owned “The Seafarer Shoppe” in Hebron, Ohio which featured his original creations. Jerry never knew a stranger. He loved to greet people and welcome them to Mass. He enjoyed cooking mouth-watering ribs, woodworking, watching birds and was known to have a shot or two of Scotch. He was an electrician by trade but could fix just about anything. He always offered to help anyone in need and he will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, March 12th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 5133 Walnut Rd, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008. His brother-in-law, Father Mike Nimocks will be officiating. Military Honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance immediately following the service. Visitation hours will be from 5-8p.m. on Friday March 11th at Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E Main St, Kirkersville, OH 43033. There will be a Knights of Columbus service at 7:30p.m. and a vigil service will be held at 7:45p.m. Inurnment will follow at a later time in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pataskala, Ohio.
