Jerry E. Rhodeback, 82, of Granville passed away peacefully on December 17, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East in Columbus. He was born in Licking County on March 23, 1939 to the late Harry Elmer and Elsie Faye (Fown) Rhodeback. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Army. Prior to retirement, he was an auto mechanic for over 40 years. He enjoyed camping, truck and tractor pulls, woodworking, tinkering around the farm and especially enjoyed raising cockatiels with his wife, Carol. Survivors include his children, Wayne (Donna) Rhodeback of Sunbury, Mike (Patty) Rhodeback of Hebron and Barbara (Trea) Mikruta of Granville; grandchildren, Tonya Bowles, Megan (Justin) Bebout, Sarah (Chris) Mauger, Robin Carr, Misty (Jim) Swinconis, Jerry White, Adrian (Kaitlyn) Rhodeback, Lindy Rock, Christian Rhodeback and Cody Mikruta; 12 great grandchildren; along with many friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Jean Rhodeback; and a daughter, Amy White. Honoring Jerry’s wishes, a private celebration of his life will follow at a later date. He will be inurned in Alexandria Cemetery. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the Licking County Humane Society, 825 Thornwood Drive, Heath, Ohio 43056.
