Jesse Bernard Collins

Jesse Bernard Collins, age 39, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his home. He was born December 16, 1980 in Newark, Ohio.

Jesse was a 1999 graduate of Riverview High School in Warsaw. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was formerly station at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Jesse had worked in the oil fields and been employed with H&D Drilling of Fallsburg. He loved music and was an avid record collector and enjoyed playing the guitar. He had a close relationship with his nieces, Lauren and Layla.

Jesse is survived by his mother, Teresa Marie (Luke) Collins of Frazeysburg; father, Michael Thomas Collins of Newark; sisters, April Fulton of Utica and Melissa Collins of Newark; brothers, Robert Collins and Mikey Collins, both of Tennessee; grandmother, Sue Ann Luke of Newark; nieces and nephew, Katelyn Fulton, Jarod Fulton, Lauren Brunton, Layla Crawmer, Josie Fulton and Kendall Fulton; several aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend, Karl Shier; and childhood best friend, Jason Hurley.

The family will have a private memorial service to celebrate Jesse’s life.
