Jesse L. Woods

Jesse L. Woods, 63 of Heath, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on July 21, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 8, 1958 to the late Zeal B. and Clara E. (Jones) Woods. Prior to retirement, Jesse worked for the Bricklayers Union #55 in Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan. Survivors include his partner of 45 years, Candy L. Brooks; children, Mindy Williamson, Marshelia Brooks, Candice L. Woods and Jesse L. Woods, Jr.; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Allen and Teresa (Chuck) White; brother, Dale (Mickie) Woods; grandchildren, Honesty, Chloe, Skylar, Sydnee, Ethan, Betsy, Dylan, Chandra and Kazden; his beloved dog, Buckeye; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Private services will be held for the family. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Jesse and his family.
