Jill Ann Maldovan

Jill Ann (Fritz) Maldovan, 59, of Baltimore, passed away Thursday evening, April 13, 2023, at her home. She was born in Lancaster on October 29, 1963, the daughter of the late Wayne L. and Charmaine L. (Blauser) Fritz.

Jill was a 1982 graduate of Liberty Union H.S., a 1986 graduate of Kent State University with a B.S. in Nursing and a graduate of Ohio State University with a master’s in Health Education. Jill had a long career as an RN at Children’s Hospital and also worked as a school nurse at Columbus School for Girls.

Jill enjoyed horses and trail riding. She was a 4-H advisor for Rough Riders 4-H club in Fairfield County. She also liked to craft, read and enjoyed hiking. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore.

Jill is survived by her loving family: her husband Dan, her sons Matthew (Morgan) and Mark; her daughter Mariah; along with her brother Michael (Phyllis) Fritz.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents.

Honoring Jill’s wishes, she will be cremated and her remains scattered at some of her favorite places.

A celebration of Jill's life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore. A luncheon will follow the service in the church family life center and is open to all who attend.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to Licking Parks District Bridle Trails, Fairfield Area Humane Society or Fairfield Co. Parks or Library. No flowers, please.
