Jimmie Dale Darr

Jimmie Dale Darr, age 76, of Newark, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Newark Care and Rehabilitation.

Jimmie was born July 30, 1943 in Coshocton, Ohio to the late William Harold and Althea Laree (Lawrence) Darr. He was formerly employed in construction and enjoyed writing and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Jimmie Dale Darr, Jr. of North Carolina; daughter, Darla Jean Hausman of Marietta; several grandchildren; brothers, Hugh “Skip” (Jean) Lawrence of Keene, Victor H. (Pinky) Darr of Vermillion and William A. (Eileen) Darr of Newcomerstown; sisters, Janice Brooks of New York and Wilma (Larry) Marlett of Newcomerstown; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jessica Deeds of Newark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul R. Darr, Gerald F. Darr and Jerry Lee Darr; and a sister, Marilyn Scott.

At his request, no service will be observed.
