Jo-Ann Lovell

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Jo-Ann Lovell, age 83, of Newark, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Martindale officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens.Jo-Ann was born on September 7, 1932 to the late Roy T. and Goldie (Williams) Hannum. She passed away at her residence on March 2, 2016 while surrounded by her loving family.Jo-Ann worked in the environmental service department at Licking Memorial Hospital for 23 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, crossword puzzles, shopping and watching westerns. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and great grandson, Carter.Survivors include her five children, Daniel (Macy) Lovell, Victoria Lovell, Cynthia Lovell, Judith Kay Sherman and Ronald (Shawna) Lovell; grandchildren, Robert (Barb) Lovell, Keisha (John) Darst, Jennifer Lovell and Brendon Lovell; sisters, Judy Yager, June Fisher and Patsy (Dennis) Shonebarger; brothers, Larry (Roddy) Hannum, Jerry Hannum, Ned (Andi) Hannum, and George (Mary) Hannum; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Sherman; one great granddaughter, Hannah Lovell; one sister, Helen Marie Hannum; two brothers, Roy T.
