Joann R. May

Joann R. "Cookie" May, age 77, of Brownsville, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 in her home with her family by her side. She was born August 21, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elmer J. and Mary Jo (Rabourn) Higgins. A graduate of Marion-Franklin High School in Columbus, Ohio. Cookie loved all animals and was particularly fond of horses. She enjoyed the outdoors and working in her yard and spending time in nature. She is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Tim A. May; and her loving son, Michael Carney. Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Cookie and her family.
