Joe Anna Keller

A graveside service for Joe Anna Keller, age 76, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, at Licking Cemetery in Hebron with Pastor Rusty Foley officiating.

Joe Anna was born March 22, 1943 in Newark, Ohio to the late Joseph and Helen (Ritz) Parish. She was formerly employed as a waitress, a nurses aide, and with Leads Head Start. Joe Anna enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes. She enjoyed plastic canvas needlework, crocheting, puzzles and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed bowling and at one time was on 10 leagues.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, June and Kevin Thompson of Newark; a sister, Sally Knight; several nieces and nephews; her beloved cat, Blackie; and her fur grandbabies, Morgan, Leah, Hemi, Jeggie, Cami and Alexis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald H. Keller, on June 19, 1983; and by a sister, Bonnie Richards.
