John David Allen

Memorial Visitation for John David Allen, 59, of Newark, will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.  Honoring John’s wishes he will be cremated.

John was born March 24, 1962 in Columbus, the son of the late Arthur Eugene and Pauline (Debney) Allen. He passed away December 28, 2021 in Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

He was a graduate of Reynoldsburg H.S., class of 1980, and worked as a plumber throughout his life. He was an active member of Union Local #189; and enjoyed watching Ohio State Buckeye and Indianapolis Colts Football.

He is survived by his children: David (Ashley) Allen, Brittney (Austin) Ross; his four grandchildren; his brothers Joe and Paul Allen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife the former Susan Madison, whom he married in 1985 and his brother Mark Allen.
