John Edward Stricklin

John Edward Stricklin, age 62, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2018 at Licking Memorial Hospital. John was born September 28, 1955 in Newark, Ohio to the late Charles Edward and Rosemary Agnes (Leckrone) Stricklin. John was a 1974 graduate of Heath High School. He was formerly employed as a manager with Midas Muffler and warehouse manager for many years at Yost Janitorial Services. He was also formerly employed with Boeing and Harry and David. He is survived by a brother, Charles M. Stricklin of Newark; and a niece, Stephanie Dawn (Brandon) Blanchard-Walsh of Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Walsh. Private inurnment will take place at Newark Memorial Gardens.
